Claudia Hitzenberger

Claudia Hitzenberger has developed an individual, body-oriented teaching style from various yoga styles. For her, a well-rounded class is an important basis. Each class is based on a theme that can relate to anatomical subtleties or philosophical backgrounds. At the beginning and at the end there is usually audible breathing, sound or a mantra. In between, dynamic elements alternate with quiet phases during active practice. The breath, as a constant companion, leads the practitioner into the depths of the postures (asanas), which are performed with great precision in the form of sun salutations (Surya Namaskar A/B) and longer held postures.
Mindfulness in practice invigorates, strengthens and relaxes the body, sensitizes our senses and brings us closer to ourselves and our personal place of stillness.
For me, practicing yoga is a reminder of the aliveness of being in all its diversity. I would like to thank all my teachers from the bottom of my heart.
